The module I viewed was about transitional planning for students with disabilities. I liked how the module listed step by step procedures for preparing a transitional plan for students with disabilities. However, I would have like to have seen more specific strategies for students with more profound disabilities. In the module a lot of attention was focused on having the student participate in the planning and participation of the transitional program which is referred to in the module as person centered. This planning would rely heavily on the input of the student. In the case of my students, most of them do not have the cognitive ability level to understand this process. Their planning would be based on information received from their parents regarding the type of transitional services they deem necessary.
